Off camera flash can be used on the streets not just in the studio!!! Here’s a run down of how I work with off camera flash on the streets.
I use a cheapo flash and a cheap wireless trigger( Yougnuo RF-602), I used to use my 580ex but started to think about it, and didn’t want someone to walk off with 300 bux!!! So now I use a sunpak 383 a friend gave me but you can get one off ebay for 50 bux. I wont feel as bad if someone walks with that. Of course everything is all manual the flash and my camera no ettl here, but its really not that hard after you get the hang of it. also if you leave on a trash can or ball bungee it to something it give you freedom to work a street corner and get different lighting situations.
